Addressing the needs of the National Maths Curriculum for KS1 and KS2

We have written this message to all MathsMap users to let you know the sad news that we have come to the difficult decision to close the website. We have seen a steady decline in the number of live users over a long period of time and following a financial review with our professional advisers it is clear that there is no long term viable future for the business. In particular, we are unable to compete with free resources such as NCETM and other government backed initiatives. This is how we intend to proceed:

The last date on which new orders can be processed, or manual/automatic renewals will be possible, will be Sunday 30th September 2018. On Monday 1st October these functions will have been removed. This allows those of you who would like to maintain access to MathsMap for as long as possible to do so. All accounts which are live on Monday 1st October will have their expiry dates set to Tuesday 31st December 2019. On Wednesday 1st January 2020 the MathsMap website will be switched off. This means that all users will have at least 15 months during which they will be able to use MathsMap. If you wish to contact MathsMap after today please use the mobile number 07789 632915 or the email address The phone numbers 07500 804895 and 01422 230207 will be discontinued during September 2018.

MathsMap contains resources created and shared by teachers from Ray’s hub schools that have saved other teachers using MathsMap many hours of work. One teacher remarked that these resources had ‘given him his Sundays back!’. We would therefore like to thank in particular all of these teachers who have contributed their own resources so that they could be shared with other teachers through MathsMap.

Finally, we would like to thank you for your custom and support, and especially those of you who have said such kind words about how much you have valued MathsMap and enjoyed using it. We wish you, your pupils and your schools all the very best for the future.
